why it matters

As two strangers starting at Manchester University, it was mainly the Red Lion’s opening hours that mattered. As two friends studying climate change and sustainable development, the world around us began to matter more. As two guys working in recruitment, we talked about building the companies of the future in the sectors that shaped us. Once we stopped talking about it and formed OXBO, nothing has mattered more.

We’re not ashamed to say we want to make a difference – whether it’s planting a tree for each person placed, donating 1% of sales to charity or developing a reputation for matching the best talent in tech and green energy to the companies that push the world forward.
